Raphael Crespin is a French designer recently established in Hong Kong. His work focuses essentially on exploring the potential of computational tools to propose alternative design and architectural approaches.
Raphael Crespin received his Master of Design and Interior Architecture from ESAG Penninghen in Paris.Prior to establishing his practice in Hong Kong, Raphael worked with various offices in Asia, including UNStudio HK and Hassell in Singapore.As a Postdoc Researcher at the SUTD Singapore University of Technology and Design, he participated to the Grand Challenge Program for Sustainable Built Environment in association with MIT. Raphael was also consultant on several projects for Noé Duchaufour Lawrence in Paris. His most relevant experience his certainly with dECOi Architects an architectural design practice renowned for its radical approach where during height years Raphael actively contributed to develop advanced design strategies on numerous awarded projects including among others the Miran Gallery in Paris, the Bankside Paramorph in London, Hyposurface or the One Main project in Boston US.
